Question:195 Dr. McDaid asked the Minister for Education the current situation regarding Carndonagh Community School (details supplied) in County Donegal.

My Department is well aware of the accommodation difficulties at Carndonagh Community School. Much additional accommodation has been provided at the school in recent years. Officials from my Department visited the school at the end of March to assess and discuss with the school authorities how best the further additional accommodation which is required at the school should be provided. Discussions are ongoing on this issue. Arrangements are also being made to meet the accommodation needs for next September when a substantial increase in enrolment is anticipated.
