Question:204 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Education the amount of grant approved for a community centre (details supplied) in County Galway.

A grant of £10,000 was allocated to the community centre in question under my Department's Recreational Facilities Scheme and a payment of £9,500 has recently been made. The balance of £500 will be paid when confirmation is received from the local community group's technical supervisor that all work has been satisfactorily completed.
