Vol. 430 No. 5

Written Answers. - Ross (Kerry) Castle.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

26 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Finance when he expects construction work on Ross Castle, Killarney, County Kerry, will be completed; when the castle will open to the public; and the total expenditure on this work.

It is hoped that all major works will be completed in order to enable the castle to be opened to the public by the end of July next. Some further minor works will be completed later. The total cost of the work is approximately £2 million.
