Vol. 430 No. 6

Written Answers. - Malahide (Dublin) School.

Ray Burke

Question:

99 Mr. R. Burke asked the Minister for Education if she will give favourable consideration to an application for the provision of three new prefabs at St. Sylvester's infant national school, Malahide, County Dublin; and if she will ensure that this accommodation is provided in time for September 1993.

My Department has approved the provision of three new semi-permanent prefabricated classrooms in this case to cater for increased enrolments.

Subject to the necessary local authority planning permission and fire safety certificate being forthcoming in good time I would hope that the accommodation will be available by September 1993.
