Vol. 430 No. 7

Written Answers. - Shelton Abbey, County Wicklow.

Mary Harney

Question:

72 Miss Harney asked the Minister for Justice the number of prisoners that were in custody in Shelton Abbey, County Wicklow on each of the days from 15 to 20 March 1993, inclusive; if, in respect of each prisoner, she will give the nature of the offence they were convicted of; the length of sentence imposed; and the length of sentence served by 15 March 1993.

The staff resources necessary to compile these statistics would not be justified, but I can confirm that sentences ranged from 3 months to life.
