Vol. 431 No. 1

Written Answers. - Cloonfad (Mayo) Sewerage Scheme.

John Connor

Question:

83 Mr. Connor asked the Minister for the Environment if his attention has been drawn to the need for the provision of a sewerage scheme at Cloonfad, Ballyhaunis, County Mayo; and if he intends to make the necessary funds available for the construction of this scheme.

A revised preliminary report for the provision of a sewerage scheme at Cloonfad is under examination in my Department. Having regard to the level of commitments under the water and sanitary services programme, I am not in a position to indicate when a decision on the scheme may be made.
