Question:192 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht if he will make any grants to performing circuses conditional on their use of human acts only; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Grants to Performing Circuses.
Grants to groups such as circuses are the responsibility of An Chomhairle Ealaíon, which is a statutorily independent body. I am sure, however, that such considerations as are raised in the Deputy's question will be borne in mind by the council.
