91 Mr. Byrne asked the Minister for Education if she will give details of the board of visitors of the NUI; and the views, if any, she has on the matter.

The Charter and Statutes of the NUI provide that the Government may appoint a board of visitors to inquire into particular cases as it sees fit. No such cases have arisen in recent years where it was deemed that the establishment of a board was warranted.
