51 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if, in reaching a decision regarding eligibility for cow premia in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare, cognisance was taken of this person's severe medical condition which prevented him from properly verifying the information submitted with his application; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Full cognisance was taken of this person's medical condition when his eligibility for suckler cow premium scheme grants was being considered. This case has been reviewed and no grounds have been found for altering the decision taken to refuse suckler cow pemium scheme grants in this case.
