Vol. 431 No. 7

Written Answers - Road Markings.

Róisín Shortall

Question:

49 Ms Shortall asked the Minister for Justice the progress which has been made in relation to the drafting of the necessary by-laws covering school keep clear markings as requested by Dublin Corporation; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

The Garda Commissioner has drafted temporary rules in relation to school entrance road markings and these rules are now with the Attorney General for clearance. The approval of the Minister for the Environment is also necessary before the rules can be made.
