Question:142 Mr. McGrath asked the Minister for Education when a remedial teacher will be appointed to St. Cremin's national school, Multyfarnham, County Westmeath; and if this teacher will be serving any other schools in this area.

I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the school in question has been selected for receipt of a remedial service with effect from September 1993. The post is being allocated to the school on a shared basis with Scoil Mhuire, Loughagar, Mullingar, County Westmeath and Scoil Mhuire, Taghmon, Mullingar, County Westmeath. My Department will be in touch with the schools shortly to make the necessary arrangements.
