Vol. 431 No. 8

Written Answers. - County Monaghan Drain.

Seymour Crawford

Question:

93 Mr. Crawford asked the Minister for Finance the present position in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Monaghan who is having a problem with a drain running from land owned by the Office of Public Works at the back of her property.

The Commissioners of Public Works have consulted Monaghan County Council about the problems affecting the drain in question, which involve other properties in the vicinity, as well as the public road. It is envisaged that a complete and permanent solution to the problems will be implemented at an early date. In the meantime arrangements are being made to have the drain cleared of any debris.
