98 Mr. Cox asked the Minister for Justice if she has received any representations for the extension of opening hours of betting offices; notwithstanding such representations, the policy she is pursuing on this matter; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I have recently received a number of representations seeking an extension of the hours during which betting shops may open, particularly during the summer months, and I am considering the issues raised.
