Question:105 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Defence the total number of Irish personnel serving with UNIFIL over the past five years.

A total of approximately 7,500 Irish personnel have served with UNIFIL in the five year period up to April 1993. Many personnel have served more than one tour of duty with UNIFIL but statistics regarding multiple tours are not readily available.
