156 Mr. Barrett asked the Minister for the Environment if he will introduce legislation in the near future to establish the three new county councils to replace Dublin County Council; and if it is intended to have these three county councils in place on 1 January 1994.

The necessary legislation is in preparation with the aim of establishing the new councils on 1 January 1994.
