Question:194 Mr. E. Kenny asked the Minister for Education the position regarding the provision of a new school at Derrywash, Castlebar, County Mayo; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

My Department has agreed, in principle, to provide new classrooms at this school, and the preparation of the schedule of accommodation is underway. It is not possible at this stage to indicate when architectural planning for the project will be completed.
