54 Mrs. Owen asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs if he paid an official visit to Morocco in April 1993; if so, the nature of the business which he was transacting; if he used the Government jet to travel there; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I have not made an official visit to Morocco. I made a private visit to Morocco in April and was accompanied on that occasion by my family. We travelled on scheduled flights.
