Question:72 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Finance the cost to the Exchequer in tax relief of all Covenants in 1992.

The relevant statistics are available in respect of the income tax year 1992-93. It is estimated that the cost to the Exchequer in terms of tax forgone for that year in respect of all Covenants was £29.5 million.
