Vol. 432 No. 4

Written Answers. - Grant Payment.

Breeda Moynihan-Cronin

Question:

80 Mrs. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a headage payment will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

The application of the person named for grants under the 1992 suckler cow premium scheme is being processed at present and if found in order, payment will be made as soon as possible. Delay in making this payment has arisen because the application form was not properly completed by the applicant.

He was paid his 1992 cattle and equines headage scheme advance payment in mid-November 1992 and the balance in mid-December 1992. He was paid his 1992 special beef premium scheme grant for applications lodged in the June 1992 application period in early November 1992. He did not apply for grants under the 1992 sheep headage scheme.
