Question:31 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Justice the reason there is a delay in producing the Annual Report on Prisons; and the steps, if any, she is now taking to bring matters up to date.
Written Answers. - Annual Report on Prisons.
The delay arose because of staffing problems in the Prisons Division of the Department. These problems have now been addressed and major progress is being made in finalising the 1989, 1990 and 1991 reports.
