Vol. 432 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers.

On a point of order, may I ask why nine of the questions tabled to the Taoiseach for answer today have not appeared on the Order Paper?

That matter does not arise now. The Deputy may not interrupt the proceedings of the House in this fashion; it is quite unusual and disorderly.

I will not hear the Deputy any further. In accordance with Standing Orders, I am proceeding to deal with Questions. The Deputy may raise the matter by another means.

I am simply asking why nine questions to the Taoiseach have not been allowed on the Order Paper today as they concern matters for which he has direct responsibility.

The Deputy may consult my office in relation to the matter. He should resume his seat now.

It is disgraceful, apart from the fact that the Taoiseach is not present.
