Question:70 Mr. J. O'Keeffe asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he has any proposals for the devolution of any of the functions of his Department to local authorities; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Devolution of Functions to Local Authorities.
The local authorities are already involved in a number of areas of my Department work. There are no proposals for further devolution of functions to the local authorities.
