Vol. 433 No. 5

Written Answers. - British Secret Service Paid Agent.

Declan Bree

Question:

37 Mr. Bree asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs if he has been in contact with the British Government regarding the claim made by a person (details supplied) that he was a paid agent of the British Secret Service; if so, if he has had any response from the British Government; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I understand that the Deputy has tabled a question about this case to the Minister for Justice. I have no information about the matter referred to and have not raised it with the British authorities.
