61 Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Minister for Justice if she will give the chronology of events in the case of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 8 including the original date of application for citizenship; and if citizenship will be granted without further delay.
Applications for Certificates of Naturalisation from the persons mentioned were received in my Department in June, 1992. The couple were interviewed in my Department on 20 April, 1993. As a result of that interview, further inquiries which are necessarily being made have not yet concluded. A decision will be made when all the relevant inquiries have been made.
