Orders of Reference of Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs: Motion.

Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach (Mr. Dempsey)

I move:

That the Orders of Reference of the Joint Committee on Foreign Affairs be amended as follows:

(i) in paragraph (16), by the deletion of ‘the Joint Committee and of its sub-Committees' and the substitution therefor of ‘the Select Committee, the Joint Committee and each sub-Committee'; and

(ii) in paragraph (22), by the deletion of ‘of whom at least one shall be a member of Dáil Éireann and at least one shall be a member of Seanad Éireann'.".
