Vol. 433 No. 7

Written Answers. - Voluntary Housing Grants.

Richard Bruton

Question:

90 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for the Environment whether grants for voluntary housing are being paid on time, to avoid imposing any unnecessary cost on sponsors; and if he will indicate the present position on the application of an association (details supplied).

There are no undue delays in the payment of voluntary housing capital assistance grants to housing authorities, who administer the scheme within their areas. Certain information regarding the project referred to is being sought by Kildare County Council from the voluntary body concerned and, when this is to hand, their application will be further considered by the council.
