Richard Bruton
Question:82 Mr. R. Bruton asked the Minister for Education if her attention has been drawn to the fact that her Department approved an extension for St. Paul's Special School, Beaumont, Dublin 9 in 1978 and approved a grant in 1985, that the school has spent over £20,000 making up its local contribution on professional fees, that the extension is still not built and that the school has been unable to develop the pre-vocational courses which provide essential skills for children with autism; and if she will now give the go-ahead for this project which will be needed even in the context of a policy favouring greater integration of education for children with a disability.
