Payments made by my Department to the company in question (since the establishment of the Department on 21 January 1993) amount to £10,195.08.

Question:156 Mr. M. McDowell asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications if he will give details of payments made by his Department to a company (details supplied) or any associated company in the last year.
My Department, since its formation on 22 January 1993, has made one payment of £63.40 to the company in question.
This amount was the final payment in respect of a consultancy contract between the company and the former Department of Tourism, Transport and Communications. A total of £6,420.60 (exclusive of withholding tax) was paid out to the company in the last year ending 11 October 1993 under the terms of this contract.
