123 Mr. M. Kitt asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment if he will give details of the organisations in County Galway that have been approved for grant assistance by his Department or by enterprise boards or other such bodies in the last two years; and when these grants will be paid.
I have no ministerial function in regard to grant assistance by semi-State bodies under my aegis. In addition details of grant assistance in individual cases approved by the Galway County Development Team and County Enterprise Partnership Board are treated as matters of confidence between the Minister and the promoters concerned. The Deputy will therefore understand that it is not possible to supply him with the detailed information requested.
