Question:125 Ms McManus asked the Minister for the Environment when he will sanction the Kilmacanogue sewerage system, County Wicklow, which has been waiting for sanction since January 1993.

Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the water and sanitary services programme, I am not in a position to indicate when a decision may be made on the preliminary report for this scheme. Construction of an advance section of pipeline is to be carried out during the construction of the Killarney Road Interchange so as to eliminate future disruption of newly laid roadway.
