67 Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for the Environment when he will approve preparation of contract documents for the sewerage system for Leenane, County Galway, as a preliminary report on the scheme has been forwarded to his Department by Galway County Council.

A preliminary report for the proposed Leenane sewerage scheme is under consideration in my Department. Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the water and sanitary services programme, I am not in a position to indicate when a decision on this scheme may be made.
