Question:

129 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for the Marine if he will give, for each year since 1986, including 1993, the number of staff employed by his Department, or previously by the Office of Public Works at Dún Laoghaire Harbour; the number of staff, broken down by grade; and the total number of daily sailings, including passenger and freight ferries.

The Department of the Marine took over responsibility for Dún Laoghaire Harbour in 1989. Complete details of staff employed at the harbour are not available to the Department for the years prior to 1989.
