177 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Health the implications for certain patients if the proposed medical council's new ethical guidelines for the medical profession, in particular the change in policy where doctors can refuse treatment to patients, are adopted.

I understand that the Medical Council is currently updating its ethical guidelines for the medical profession. As these guidelines have not yet been published, it would be premature for me to comment on them.
