Vol. 435 No. 1

Written Answers. - Galbally (Wexford) School.

Question:

184 Mr. Byrne asked the Minister for Education the grants owed to or applied for by Galbally National School, County Wexford; the dates and the progress, if any, of these applications; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

Payment of grants outstanding to the school authorities could not be made pending receipt of certain documentation. This documentation has now been received and payment will be made shortly.

Grant-aid has also been sanctioned in respect of other works which will begin shortly at the school; this involves hard-play areas, perimeter fencing and bus pull-in facilities.
