101 Éamon Ó Cuív asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment when a decision will be made on an application by a person (details supplied) in County Galway for a grant for a tourism project aided under the county development scheme in County Galway.
Grants of over £5,000 from the Western Development Fund have to be assessed by the Central Development Committee before being approved. This application has come before the Committee on two occasions, and has been referred back to the Galway County Development Officer for further information. Observations have also been requested from other State Agencies. The case will be assessed again at the next meeting of the Central Development Committee.
