To date approximately £26.5 million has been expened on the restoration of the Shannon-Erne Waterway, which was formerly known as the Ballinamore-Ballyconnell Canal. The overall budget for the project is £30 million. The balance of this amount not yet expended is committed to specific aspects of the project.
