Question:41 Mr. Boylan asked the Minister for the Environment when he will sanction the Ballyjamesduff water and sewerage scheme in County Cavan; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Ballyjamesduff (Cavan) Sewerage Scheme.
Tenders for the Ballyjamesduff water supply scheme are currently under consideration in my Department. The scheme has been submitted for assistance under the Cohesion Fund.
A preliminary report for the Ballyjamesduff sewerage scheme (for which soil investigation work has already been carried out) has been approved by my Department. I understand that Cavan County Council are now preparing contract documents for this scheme.
