59 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for Defence if the future of Kickham Barracks in Clonmel, County Tipperary is secure; if this barracks will continue to operate on this basis in the future; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

As I stated in my reply to Question No. 49 on 21 October 1993, the Government have no plans to close any military barracks apart from Collins Barracks, Dublin.
