Vol. 435 No. 6

Ceisteanna — Questions Written Answers. - Commuter Rail Services.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

84 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications whether his attention has been drawn to proposals or requests for the extension of commuter rail services on the Dublin/Enfield line; if the capital necessary for any such proposals will be made available; the means by which the capital will be made available; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The provision of services on the railway network, including commuter services, and the allocation of funds for such purposes are matters relating to the day to day administration of Iarnród Éireann. Accordingly I have no function in these matters.
