Question:5 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Finance the total number of registered employers in the country and in Cork city and county.

I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that at 18 March 1993 there were 119,471 employers on the nationwide register of employers. The data in question is not maintained in such a way as to enable separate figures to be provided in respect of Cork city or county without incurring disproportionate cost.
