Question:

113 Mr. Broughan asked the Minister for Social Welfare the amount of extra revenue that would be obtained by the Exchequer if the PRSI upper limit was abolished.

It is estimated that the abolition of the PRSI ceilings would yield an extra £145 million in PRSI revenue in the 1993-94 tax year.
