Vol. 435 No. 10

Written Answers. - Dublin Dental Hospital.

Liz McManus

Question:

159 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has to provide new accommodation for the Dublin Dental Hospital in view of the serious condition of the existing buildings and their unsuitability.

Ivor Callely

Question:

162 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Education the up-to-date position on the future of the Dublin Dental Hospital; the resources available for refurbishment of the present buildings; if agreement has been reached for new accommodation; if so, the location of this accommodation; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

I propose to take Questions Nos. 159 and 162 together.

The whole question of the Dublin Dental Hospital and school is being considered, in consultation with the Minister for Health, in the context of the 1994 Estimates. I am not, therefore, in a position to make any further statement on the matter at present.
