Question:170 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for the Environment the position regarding proposed public water supply scheme improvements at Inis Meáin, Aran Islands, County Galway.

The preliminary report for this scheme has been submitted by Galway County Council and is under consideration in my Department. Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the water and sanitary services programme I am not in a position to indicate when a decision may be made.
