Question:81 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for Social Welfare the amounts paid in rent subsidies each year for the last three years in the Dublin area.

Health boards do not maintain expenditure data in such a way as to provide the information requested by the Deputy. However, the Eastern Health Board estimate that expenditure on rent supplements in the Dublin area was approximately £5.3 million in 1990, £8.6 million in 1991 and £13.8 million in 1992.
