Question:175 Mr. Sargent asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if there is a national register of forestry owners; and if so, if he will give Deputy Sargent details of the registry.

There is not yet a national register of forest owners in Ireland. However, in the context of grant assistance paid to forestry projects relevant details are held but these are confidential to my Department.
