Vol. 436 No. 7

Written Answers. - Departmental Staff.

Máirín Quill

Question:

125 Miss Quill asked the Minister for Enterprise and Employment if there is only one Labour inspector functioning in all of Munster; his views on whether the area is adequately served; if not, the action, if any, he proposes to take; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The position in relation to the serving of the Munster area by the Labour Inspectorate of my Department remains as set out in my reply to Dáil Question No. 148 of 4 May 1993, columns 257-258 of the Official Report.

The question of the overall staffing levels in the inspectorate continues to be under active consideration.
