Question:87 Mr. N. Ahern asked the Minister for Justice the laws relating to pedestrians, particularly, with regard to jaywalking and general conduct and behaviour in relation to roads and traffic.

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the law relating to this matter is contained in Part VI of the Road Traffic General By-laws, 1964 (S.I. No. 294 of 1964).
