17 Ms McManus asked the Minister for Equality and Law Reform if he has received the report of the Working Party on Child Care, which he told Dáil Éireann on 29 June 1993 would be submitted by October 1993; the date on which the working party was established; the number of meetings held; if it is intended to publish the report; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I have not yet received the report of the Working Party on Child Care Services for Working Parents but I understand that the report will not now be available until January, 1994.
The working party was established by the Minister for Labour in April, 1990. It has held 14 full meetings and numerous sub-group meetings and consultations with interested parties.
I propose to publish the report when it becomes available.
