Question:109 Ms F. Fitzgerald asked the Minister for Arts, Culture and the Gaeltacht the reasons for his decision to locate Teilifís na Gaeilge in Connemara; and if any other Gaeltacht area was considered in his deliberations.

The Programme for a Partnership Government 1993-97 stated clearly that the headquarters of Teilifís na Gaeilge would be situated in the Connemara Gaeltacht and the Government has decided that the headquarters station should be in the Baile na hAbhann-An Tulach area.
