Paul Bradford

Question:

122 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the amount due to a person (details supplied) in County Cork, under the 22 month special beef premium scheme; and when payment will issue.

I propose taking Questions Nos. 121 and 122 together.

A payable order in respect of this applicant's December 1992 special beef premium scheme application will issue to him shortly. Delay in payments has arisen because of an oversight. His application for grants under the January/February 1993 special beef premium scheme is being processed at present and if found in order an advance of £474.57 representing 60 per cent of the amount due in accordance with EC Regulations will be paid to him shortly. He did not apply under the ten or 22 month June 1993 special beef premium schemes.
